When I started walking the self-improvement path a few years ago I was struggling with nearly all of the problems I just mentioned.

I had no drive, a low self-worth, was stuck in my head all the time, not doing anything that was good for me in the long run. Even though I didn’t show this to people, I was far from happy. I was being controlled by the events and thoughts that life threw at me.


So what changed?

I was sick of feeling like shit. So much so that it sparked a change.

I started taking action on the basics. And it all started with exercise for me.

That led to me wanting to improve my nutrition.

This eventually snowballed until I built a set of habits and cultivated a strong mindset that allowed me to gain more control over my thoughts and emotions.

This showed in everything I did. I allowed myself to become an active creator of my world, instead of a reactive victim to circumstances.


I realized that it were simple practices that allowed me to make this huge change. I connected the dots and saw that there’s nothing revolutionary to taking control over your life. It’s all rooted in consistent practice along with a subtle change in mindset.
